Rated 3 out of 5 by from Faucet handle ceased up on Pfister Pasadena Faucet I have three of the Pfister Pasadena Widespread Brushed Nickel Faucets. They are very nice looking, and so far two of them are working with no issues. However, the cold water faucet handle has ceased up on the third faucet. It is basically locked and instead of the handle turning when you turn it on, the whole handle assembly including the bolt and water supply line below turn with it, to the point that now, in an off position the handle has turned 90 degrees to touch the backsplash. We had to turn the cold water supply off because we have no further leeway to turn the handle. I am hoping Pfister can provide me with a replacement part to fix the issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic housings break. I am a contractor and we have used Price Pfister products for many years. I still like their other products. This Pasadena faucet has been problematic for us. I have had six of them fail due to the plastic fittings on the supply lines. They are designed so the brass fitting goes inside the plastic connector. This is a design flaw. Metal inside plastic will cause the plastic to break. A plastic fitting need to be inside the metal fitting instead. They were tightened barely more than finger tight. I have had to replace these on several homes where we installed them. I am staying away from the click-fit plastic stuff.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rust,Rust.Rust I purchased this faucet 6 months ago and have had to pull off the handles three times already to clean out the rust buildup, which eventually locks up the handles completely. The problem is caused by a combination of leaking valves and a plain uncoated steel top nut which secures the faucet to the sink. I call PP today and they claim they are unaware of the problem, but they did agree to send me out replacement nuts. These nuts should have been stainless steel or brass rather than plain steel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great and works well The faucet looks great and works very well. The snap on hoses make installation very easy. I was impressed that there were no leaks to chase down when I turned the water supplies on after I installed it. By the way, since I do not enjoy working upside down and laying on my back under a sink, I found the easy way to install a wide spread faucet is to lift the whole sink out of the cabinet and turn it upside down on top of the cabinet. You can then remove the old faucet, install the new one, connect the new hoses, all while standing up. Clean off the old caulk and add new caulk before dropping the sink into place again. Easy as can be.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap defective plastic drain The first Pasadena faucet I bought had to be returned because the plastic drain assembly was broken when I opened the box. I returned it and made sure the drain assembly in the new one was intact. However, once installed, it continued to leak from the top of the drain assembly. I had a professional plumber try to assemble it so it wouldn't leak, but he said the plastic was so thin and cheap he was afraid to tighten it any more. Also, the installation guide in the box does not match the product. I would not recommend this product. It may be less expensive than most, but is so poorly constructed it is a very poor value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Elegant, simple installation I installed two of these sets in my new master bathroom. They were easy to install, and look very elegant. Another company also makes a matching Roman Tub faucet, which really brought together the whole look of the bathroom. The only thing I do not like about this set is that the faucet itself is two different pieces, creating two seams along the sides. I would rather have it cast in one piece, so there were no seams to trap dirt and grime. But overall this set is beautiful, feels very sturdy, and has a beautiful brushed finish.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disapointed with this faucet., I have three of these in two bathrooms. One is 5 years old and two are 4 years old. All of them have had issues with binding handles which I repaired a few years ago. Today I replaced all three faucets with a different brand. The drains on two of them were rusty as were the nuts which hold the valves in place and all of the pins which raise the pop up's were badly rusted. These Pfister Pasadena faucets look great when they are new but are absolute junk in the long run.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent After almost giving myself a stroke installing another brands high end faucet (which you need a engineering degree to install) and then discovering it had a defect and leaked I decided to calm down and check out what they had at the Depot. I found this faucet in the Tuscan Bronze finish and decided to give it a try. Very happy with my decision. The quality and finish is excellent..the style is perfect for my bath and along with the bronze color works so well with my marble top.Operation is smooth and the water flow is perfect. Installation is really easy and straight forward..props to Pfister for making the install so simple and intuitive.Great faucet at a great price.

Is there a trick to removing the drain stopper cap?

I saw the previous answer re cleaning the drain stopper, it's supposed to manually unthread. But my drain stopper cap just turns around and around, I can't unscrew it to remove it.
Asked by: bunnymama
I was the one who asked the original question. I wasn't able to unscrew mine, either, but it doesn't turn, it just stays tight and the whole assembly twists so it looks like it will break at the bottom before the top unscrews. I went to my local HD and looked at one in the box, and I couldn't unscrew the top on that one either. For now I just get a long pair of tweezers and poke around till I get some of the hair out. I think there's a way to unscrew the connection from down inside the cabinet but haven't tried that yet.

what is the measurement if the spout? I need one that is at least 8 inches from the tip to the base

Asked by: PK
From the center of the mounting hole to the edge of the basin is 2.5". Also (looking from above), from the center of the mounting hole to the front edge of the spout is 6". Though it angle the stream of water outward a little, I think it is minimally acceptable operation. It is a little closer than I prefer. Its operation is awesome and it looks pretty good. Hope this helps.
