If you pay to have a defective Pfister faucet installed, Pfister will supply new hardware but WILL NOT cover the labor costs to remove and replace their defective product. Your plumber, who has installed the unit correctly, also has no obligation since the fault lies with Pfister. I spent the morning on the phone with Pfister where they spelled out to me that labor costs are on me despite the fact that their product is defective. I had a leaky faucet. Purchased a Pfister product. Paid a plumber to install and 4 days later have a leaky faucet. No more Pfister in my future and I certainly hope not in yours.

This is less a review for this particular faucet (I typically always get Pfitzer) and more a review about Pfitzer itself. I ordered this through Home Depot on the website because I live fifty miles from the nearest brick and mortar store and after receiving it, I opened it, took the cartridges out in order to solder the connections and one of the cartridges was broken. I grabbed the instruction booklet, called customer service and when they told me the part was in stock and to expect it in two to five business days at my front door I was frankly, surprised. Even more surprised when it arrived three days later. Thumbs up to you, Pfitzer! Good job!

I looked all over for an easy to install tub faucet that didn't require me to sweat pipes. I also needed one that didn't have a fixed width between handles. There aren't many options out there. This one was fairly easy to install and has great flow (even with 3/8 to 1/2 faucet supply lines)! My only negative is the base of the spout is very large. Make sure you have plenty of space for the base. Mine is right at the edge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality tub faucet at the right price point Bought to replace an existing 8" center Roman tub faucet. Overall, the pre-assembly and installation was very easy. The faucet design allows the handle spread to be up to 22" center-to-center~ The two flexible hoses which are supplied and in the box are NOT the water supply hoses,. The supplied hoses are used to connect the hot /cold valve handles to the center spout. You must use the existing water supply hoses/tubing or install new. Keep in mind the faucet is rated for 15 GPM (see specs) so do not let anyone tell you it is OK to connect 3/8" water supply hoses (aka lavatory faucet water supplies) to this faucet. If you do it will take a very long time to fill the tub, you might as well buy a lavatory faucet (not a good idea). Stay with 1/2" water supply valve and hoses/tubing to get the full function and enjoyment of this faucet...you will not be disappointed. Bottom line - My background happens to be in plumbing and over 20+ years I've installed hundreds of faucets in various styles. This is a good Roman tub faucet , priced right and when compared to similar designs worth installing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from extension part was not included in the pkg. I discovered that this faucet didn't include extenders and needed them. I placed the order with Pfister and was told it would take a week to ship the parts, since they weren't in the warehouse. Almost 2 weeks later, I received an incomplete shipment. When I called Pfister again, I was initially told it would take 2-3 days to receive the part they had failed to include. I asked to speak with a supervisor, was placed on hold, and then was shortly told that the part would be overnighted to me. It did arrive as promised. I am told other manufacturers include extensions in original kits. I'll know not to choose Pfister next time.

The finish doesn't match the brushed nickel of other brands so be sure to get Price Pfister accessories if you are concerned about exact match.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice and elegant! We were updating our roman tub fixtures from gold from the 90s to modern to match the rest of the updates we are doing. We bought this fixture for its functionality and looks. This is an elegant looking piece added style to our master bath. Love the brushed nickel finish. Only con is, we had to cut the sheet rock to get access to the valve. Since the painters has not started their work in the master bath, we were lucky to get the fixture installed and fix the wall. It's worth the trouble. The bathroom looks completed with modern fixtures!

From the back of the faucet to the front spout it measures 10 3/8 " it fit our mobile home garden tub perfectly. The flow is also much better than what we had before. It doesn't look or feel flimsy either.

Great news! Do it yourself plumbing has come a long way. The water supply for each faucet is supplied through two flexible plastic tubes. As long as your current setup provides for both handles in proximity to the faucet you shouldn't have any problem. Not to mention, if you purchase it and there's no way you can hook it up, you can return it to Home Depot. (By the way, we hooked this up over two years ago and love it. And, neither my wife or I are plumbers! You shouldn't have any issues.)

Pfister model #806-PDKK has a minimum hole spacing of 9”center. Pfister roman tub units are only compatible with Pfister valve bodies. If a Pfister roman tub trim is going to be installed then a Pfister valve body must be installed as well. For any further questions, please contact Pfister Consumer Service at 1-800-732-8238.
