Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful upgrade! I bought this last year (2014). I had it for about 3-4 months and the finish began to peal. I was prett disappointed after spending a good amount of money on his to complete my bathroom update, but low and behold...Pfister's customer service and their dedication to backing their products paid off. I called, and with no questions asked the rep preceded to order me a replacement. Definitely THE BEST customer service I've experienced! Needless to say, it must have been a fluke, because the replacement has posed no problem as and the finish remains true. I told my wife that we are officially Pfister loyal customers! Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Right Look for my Bathroom Remodel I was picturing what style and finish bath faucet would look best with my Roman-Tuscan, refined, but slightly rustic-looking porcelain tiles. I didn't have to search too long to come across this universal tub set, which hit the look just right. It comes in several configurations to pretty much cover the original faucet products out there, which makes installation easy. It has now been nearly a year, as of this review and this Pfister product is performing well. I would recommend taking a look. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally One That Works! We have been trying to retrofit a 1992 Moen Valve with 2015 fixtures, without hiring an expensive plumber. Can't tell you how many things we've returned because it wouldn't work or was cheap looking or couldn't find matching parts. We finally found this and we are very happy. It's quality and metal not plastic. We didn't have an issue with a floppy handle as some. The handle sticks out far but the spout is longer so doesn't look weird. Only issue is now we have hot on left and cold on right but that is because of the way the new one turns as opposed to the old. Have to pick your battles I guess. Price Pfiester has a how to install Video on their site. This is a great solution. We ordered the brushed silver for our guest bathroom. Very attractive. I have included before and after pictures. We had our tub and tile reglazed also.

Does this faucet set come with cartridge and behind the wall brass hookup?

No, this Pfister model R90TD2Y does not come with the valve or cartridge. It is a Universal trim and you are able to use valves from Pfister, Delta and Moen.

Is this tub set only for retrofitting an existing tub with shower, or can it be used on a new install? In other words, does it come with the same components as other sets or are they assuming you already have some parts behind the wall so not included?

Pfister Model # R90TD2K is a trim only set that does not include a valve. This trim maybe used on an existing tub an existing tub and shower or a new install. The set includes the shower head flange, shower head arm, shower head, handle flange, handle sleeve, handle and tub spout.
