The fact that they're battery powered make them super versatile, and because they're just a nice soft white color, you can use them for multiple holidays and occasions. I also really like that they have a timer function so you don't have to manually turn them on and off every night if you don't want to. I plan to hang these on my front porch, but they'd also be great to use in trees. The stars are flexible, so they can be folded up for storage. Definitely recommend!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Philips LED starburst lights a bust I bought this three pack back in October…they weren’t cheap. Hung them on Nov 27th and by Nov 29th one of them won’t turn on. I tried replacing batteries, made sure everything was dry, tried turning them off and on again…nothing worked. Checking out the return regulations online it would seem that seasonal stuff can’t be returned after 30 days without the receipt, which I obviously can’t find.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The micro LEDs on these are really beautiful and the hanging string/battery power means I can put them on trees, the porch, etc. Each star has its own battery pack that takes 3 AAs. The stars can be used indoor or outdoor. On the battery pack, they operate by either on/off or timer. The timer is 6 hours on/18 off. These lights are warm white, so not as white as the daylight LEDs. The lights are large enough to be seen from the road of most homes. These lights are made in Cambodia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Sparklers/Fireworks without fire [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Three Individual Sparklers, oops meant Starburst ;-) So Pretty & even prettier once lit with combination of steady and 70 twinkling LED lights running up each of the 20 (per starburst) well made sturdy, pliable gold glittering 6" rods, poles, spikes hmmm not sure what to refer the spikes as however very pleased how flexible yet strong Each individual starburst consists of a 34" power cord (recommend unwind prior to shaping starburst) connecting a well made 3"x3" (hinges included in measurement) battery compartment allow durability for outdoor use. Each require 3 AA Batteries. Casing button allows option to turn on/off or set timer for 6 hours on, 18 hours off, set it and forget it! Manufactured in to the top of the starburst unit is a small circle consisting of a 6" nylon which looks and feels like fishing line for hanging. Once hung total measurement from top of the line to the bottom of the starburst is 18" Philips offers a 1 year warranty guarantee. Sure this Elegant Twinkling affect would be a beautiful addition for Christmas decorations however I will choose to have them hanging in the corner of a room at different lengths or perhaps separating them and have one in each corner of my 3 bedrooms (kids will love it) or perhaps hang on my front porch setting the timer. So Many Options & Too Pretty to repackage & store for the next Holiday

I think these starburst are beautiful, however one of them is ALWAYS ON, even after I've changed the batteries (duracell) reset the timer, it still remains on all the time. So disappointing, since I will need to replace the batteries for this one starburst thought out the season. I have seen other people asking about this on the product Q & A. I repeated the 'directions' to making this work and it did not help. My opinion is that some of these are just faulty.

Don't be like me and miss the little words "battery powered". Thus, I cannot connect these to the Philips string LED sphere lights and run them off the same automated controller. These lights don't even link together. I'd love to use them, but don't want to climb up in the tree every evening to start them nor change batteries.

We got 2 boxes and hung them from our trees, the sparkle is really pretty to look at even from indoors. They were very easy to assemble and hang, the only issue is 3 AA batteries only last about 2 weeks in the cold, so we had to change the batteries once during the holidays.

2 out of my 6 won’t work, and yes, I confirmed the correct installation of brand new batteries… I also checked the cord for any knicks, cuts, damage, and see none….

How many hours will the batteries last when used on the timer mode? The entire holiday season?

Thank you for reaching out to us. We have found that Energizer and Duracell batteries last the longest in our testing. Sets with multiples LEDs in a bulb draw more energy. When the lights are on, AA batteries last approximately 80 hours.
