Rated 1 out of 5 by from WASTE OF MONEY Purchase At Own Risk Does Not Last I bought this bulb to help my single seedling grow around late Feb/March, and used it almost daily for just about 3-4hrs a night, and only until late April when things could start going outside here. This fall when I brought the plant in, and went to turn it on so it'd have some light the bulb blew. It advertises 2000hrs as the average life, that doesn't add up. Contacted Philips and they consistently said they need the date code on the bulb so they know when it was made. Thats fair enough cause I cant find my receipt after all this. However theres no date code anywhere, so they aren't willing to offer me another bulb even. Very dissatisfied with this product, and their poor customer service. Do not waste your money, I should have heeded the warnings from other reviews on it about that issue and found another brand :(

I called the # and they weren't able to answer these very simple questions for me. Maybe someone here knows the answer. I have a light fixture that says 60HZ AC only. Would this bulb work for it? Is it AC or DC or both? What Hz?

Asked by: RLesMi
This is a perfect fit 60Hz AC

My light fixture also specifies that it is a Type A lamp but I don't think it would matter if i used a different shape for it right (BR30).. If you know pls reply ty

Asked by: RLesMi
Yes you technically can use a BR30 the one factor that you need to look at is the maximum wattage allowed by the light fixture.

Is this a 75w or 75w equivalent? I notice other grow lights specify "equivalent" in their description, but the Philips do not. thank you in advance.

Can this be used in a regular lamp?

Does it provide heat, or just light? If it provides heat, how much?
