Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as intended I bought this today and was hesitant because of the other reviews, so I only got one. Taking it out of the box, I realized batteries are not included, so make sure to put in the 2x AAA batteries before you try to do anything. Next, I followed the small instruction sheet that was included in the box. It says to press the ON button 3 times. I accidentally pressed it too many times, so I had to take out the batteries to turn it off, and then press the button 3 times again. It worked like a charm, and it controls all 3 A19 bulbs that I have in my living room. It works as intended. The reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I think the remote is a bit long. I have a Chromecast remote which is small and fits nice in the hand, which would be a preferred size for this remote. Another reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because the Hue version of the remote can be fixed on the wall like a light switch and this Wiz version is strictly a remote, so it only has one way of being used.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful product The remote works occasionally but usually overheats almost right away and disconnects then the remote stops registering power for a while. Eventually it will reconnect after a couple hours but the whole cycle will repeat anyways. This is a pretty common problem with these remotes as I found out after buying. Don’t buy this remote.

I originally programmed it to the A19s and swapped them for the A21s and had no issues. I love that I don’t need to open an app to turn lights on/off or adjust brightness. The only thing I wish was that there were options to cycle through colours or dynamic speeds similar to the brightness buttons.

Is there a wall-mount option for the remote, to have it act like a light switch? This is available for the Hue remote, and is a great feature of the product.
