The frame and mounting plate is constructed from 100% stainless steel for durability and added strength. This bench is a great sleek and modern option for added safety. The body of the seat is textured, providing a non-slip surface. The seat body is manufactured from HPL (high pressure laminate), which is guaranteed to last a lifetime. HPL is the most durable and long lasting material available for bathroom and shower seats. This space saving option also allows you to fold the seat up against the wall when not in use. The load capacity has been tested for use up to 450 pounds, exceeding ADA load capacity requirements. Mounting hardware is included for wood stud installation. This bench is intended for extended size bathtubs only.
