This pool vac takes four C batteries and I think it could use more power. It doesn't feel strong enough and when I put my finger to the end I don't feel suction. After using it on pool stairs the filter was pure white so I'm not convinced it was actually pulling anything up. After turning it on and off several times it starts to hesitate and you have to play with it to get it to turn on. The filter was easy to access and the batteries are sealed in well. I think with more power this would work well, but as it is the vacuum is not powerful enough to effectively pull dirt from the water. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This Water Tech pool blaster spa vac ultra was a must for the new pool! It is the longest lasting battery spa cleaner. It comes with a 3 section extention poles to reach better and is very light weight. The filter picks up mostly everything you can see with your eyes. Perfect size for not taking up wasted space in the closet. The handles separate which is very handy for storing the vac in a drawer. In the photo, you can see the easy on and off switch. A quarter turn will turn the vac on and off. The filter is accessed easily with no effort. The vac runs off of C cell batteries. I have owned the pool version of this unit for many years, and it continues to work well to keep my pool clean. The spa buster unit is a similar design as the pool buster, but on a smaller scale. It is a bit small to clean your entire spa, but perfect for those problem spots that always appear, where dirt collects. This unit used four C cell batteries, and turns on and off with a twist of the battery storage case. I would prefer a rechargeable unit, which is why I rated it four stars. Three connecting handle segments give you good reach. The unit operates by pumping water from its mouth to the rear, resulting in a vacuum at the mouth that collects dirt. A removable filter bag and debris catch canister holds what it picks up. The fine mesh bag does a decent job of filtering the dirt. Operation is very quiet. Having a handy unit that’s battery operated makes spa maintenance cleaning quick and easy work. It’s a bit small for large debris and won’t suck or hold allot of leaves, but it gets the job done for everyday use. A nice accessory to have [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This pool blaster spa vac is a good battery powered cordless Spa or hot tub vacuum. We were looking for something to clean our hot tub with and found this spa vacuum. It comes with a free pool pole and weighs less than 1 pound. It takes 4C size batteries and does a pretty good job of sucking out the stuff that you don’t want in your hot tub.
