Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as pictured I'd advise against ordering on line. I had to dig through the pile as all the wood had cracks and gouges. Colours vary, and if, like me, you only need one side showing, you'll probably find something you can use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Split everywhere. Material was brutal, split everywhere. Not really your fault, all lumber is doing it right now.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cracks in the wood Cracks in the wood. Curbside is not great for lumber

Rated 1 out of 5 by from misleading picture the wood shown in the picture looks like treated cedar. But the actual product is white wood block with a lot of cracks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value Mostly straight but had a few with cracks. Fortunately was able to cut out those sections and still use but surprised at amount and would have been dissapointed if I needed the full 8' length.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful cedar post Really nice Cedar posts. But I had one that had split in half for about 3 feet. Make sure you don’t have any cracks or splits and they are perfect for any project your about to start.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What We Needed We found a youtube tutorial to make a raised garden bed that would be long lasting and well built strong. We used this for the inner corners, worked perfect. Great product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This wood splits when dry Every one was split from top to bottom on at least two sides. Not a one was not split. This may be a CB problem in the long run but it’s to early to tell.

I'm asking a similar question as asked but was not answered by the company. I'm looking to take a top half of a bunk and make it a loft bed with untreated lumber for indoors. If it cracks in store, will this be safe to support a bed and kid?

Asked by: Anonymous
With the 4 x 4 you will not have any issues with supporting a bed and kid. I have used them for a work bench and supporting a raised deck

Can I use this to raise my Bed. Was planning to cut it in 4 pieces and use it for MALM bed

Asked by: Novice
Yes why not. Cedar is a healthy wood for indoors unlike treated SPF.

Can this be used for outdoor fence panels? I also find the other product (SKU # 1001760097) on your website. What is the difference between these two products?

Asked by: Jennifer
I used the post to attach a down spout for my new rain gutters. Works fine for this purpose. I assume it would work fine for a fence.

Do you have any good pcs in stock 4x4x8 or 4x4x12 (Cedar) I need about 100ft. I called but the guys were to busy to check. Jan 11 2022 all other stores close to me say they are all split. Thank you

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi, thank you for your question. All lumber will split and twist as it dries out. The larger pieces, such as a 4x4, tend to do this more than a smaller piece such as a fence board or 2x4. The larger pieces hold more natural moisture and tend to dry out in the store
