Trex Protect Joist Tape is a non-skid, self-adhesive deck flashing tape that is designed to shield the tops of joists, rim joists, beams and the ledger board from moisture that can lead to the development of rot and wood decay and the loosening of deck screws and fasteners. Trex Protect works on horizontal and vertical surfaces and is applied as a cap (versus wrapping), which allows the wood to breathe. Trex Protect Joist Tape and Beam Tape have a non-skid surface making it easier and safer to walk across during construction. Not to be used with Trex RainEscape Deck Drainage system.

Fascia Plug and Screw Kits are part of the Pro Plug System for Fascia, a system for securely fastening composite fascia boards. Plug and Screw Kits are designed for use with the Fascia Plug Tool Set, which contains required installation accessories and is sold separately. Fascia Screws are made from Grade 305 Stainless Steel and feature star drive recesses. Fascia Plugs are made from actual Trex fascia board material, so they match perfectly.
Post Protector is a slide-on barrier system protecting in-ground posts from decay by eliminating soil-to-wood or concrete-to-wood contact. Post Protector allows for typical post-in-ground foundations without the decay causing micro-organisms ever having access to the post. The treatment in a pressure treated post is a pesticide used in an effort to make the wood fibre an undesirable food source for these micro-organisms. The treatment is effective initially but loses its effectiveness as the chemical migrates or leaches from the post over time. Post Protector eliminates this chemical migration and keeps the treatment with the post where it belongs. Common applications are decks, pergolas, fences, pole barns, to name a few.
