It was easy to assemble. only gave it 4 stars because it seems to be a little heavy. I have only used it 2 times , it does what it suppose too. I like the auto back to start on/off button. also like that in the future you can add the other attachments to it. my old weed trimmer was a smaller unit although it was a 31cc I think once i get use to it the weight will not be a problem. Over all I am very happy with it.

A metal guard in the head fell out almost immediately. The entire device fell into pieces in less than 10 hours of use. It is a shame that Poulan is allowed to sell such junk. The engineers who designed this need to go back to school.

Required a lot of pulls to get started even after using True Fuel 50:1 and properly priming bulb.This unit is way too loud..the noise produced is deafening. Other trimmers that I have had are no where near as loud as this model.This unit may have been used. Wished I had not bought it

What is gas oil mix?

Hi Chicko - This trimmer runs on a 50:1 mixture. To obtain the correct oil mix ratio, pour 2.6 ounces of 2-cycle synthetic oil into one gallon of fresh gas. You can download the Use & Care Manual under the Info & Guides section of this product page for more details.
