Will this attachment work with a Kobalt 80V string trimmer? (ie how cross compatible are string trimmers and other manufacturers' attachments? Thank you.

After considering the anonymous reply (gas-powered only), I decided to investigate further. I have now purchased this edger. It works (and works very well in my limited experience) with my Kobalt 80V string trimmer head. My concern about gas and electrical heads had no foundation. The connection from head to appliance is mechanical. It is my intention to write a fairly long review of my experience... there seems to be a shortage of this sort of summary... watch for it! I am very pleased with this edger.
