It provides added security to your home by securing your door to its jamb and includes a tamper-resistant shutter guard to deter unwanted entry. Constructed of diecast metal with a brass finish, this single cylinder deadbolt is strong, made of high-quality materials and durable, giving you peace of mind that your home will be protected. This single cylinder deadlock is a surface-mounted, cross-bolt locking device which can be mounted on 1-3/8 to 2-3/8 inch thick, doors on the inside or outside of left- or right-hinged doors. This lock requires a 1-1/4 inch hole and uses Segal keyway. Installation tip: Snap-off or cut-off end sections of tailpiece as needed, if it is too long for your door.

EASY INSTALLATION Installation is quick and easy, with instructions included. The deadlock is a surface-mounted, cross-bolt locking device which can be mounted to 1-3/8 inch to 2-3/8 inch thick, wood or metal doors. It can be installed inside or outside, on left- or right-hinged doors.

INCLUDES - This door lock includes an angled strike, a rim cylinder, two keys (keyed differently), a cylinder trim ring, fasteners, a mounting plate, instructions and a tamper-resistant shutter guard. This lock requires a 1-1/4 inch hole and uses Segal keyway.

INSTALLATION TIP - Snap-off or cut-off end sections of tailpiece as needed, if it is too long for your door. Having the tailpiece too long can negatively affect the performance of the lock. Use pliers to snap-off, a hacksaw or small disk to cut-off, and a file to remove sharp edges and burrs.
