Rated 5 out of 5 by from Promix Fertilizer When buying this fertilizer, it’s best when applying it to do it when there’s rain forecasted. This would enable the grass to absorb all the nutrients best. Save on your watering bill too. The nitrogen will help green your lawn and help the growing and add strength to growing a thick lawn. Once in early June and beginning of August is a good way of doing it. Fall fertilizer would be the next application around second week of September. 20-6-6
