The specifically formulated coating is design to prevent rust, staining or streaking in all pressure treated wood. An average of 4 to 6 screws are required per square foot when using a 2 x 6 or 5/4 x 6 wooden decking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Deck Screws! Finished off my 2" thick deck with some regular deck screws after using these. There's no comparison. The PRO-FAST screws virtually flew into the wood with no splitting & used only one hammer-drill charge for 700 screws. On the regular screws the drill was hammering loud & labouring to get them in. The PRO-FAST screws comes with 2 driver bits & the heads are smaller so don't stand out as much. Won't use anything else from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Technical Fasteners Sunk 1500 screws, not one broke. Nor did the heads cam-out. Even used the same driver bit for all fasteners. This indicates that these fasteners are of the right hardness and ductility, which indicates good metallurgy and treating. Highly recommended.
