It's a modern twist on a retro style. It looks great in my entryway and gives off the perfect amount of light. CONS: However, for what I consider an expensive light, the installation process should have been easier and the supplied parts should have been suitable for the light. We spent a total of 6 hours TRYING to install this fixture. We've changed all the other lights in our house and this one, by far, was the worst. Connecting the wires is the easiest and most basic part, but attaching the fixture to the provided pieces was a nightmare. It turns out that the screws they provide are 0.25" too long. When we tried securing the fixture's plate to the ceiling, the screws were too long and made it so that the screw caps wouldn't tighten all the way, leaving an gap between the plate and ceiling. The instructions were just as bad. They showed placing the nuts on the wrong side of the screw and the nuts themselves would not hold the screws in place. When trying to screw on the screw caps, the screw would spin, making it impossible to tighten. We ended up going to a local hardware store to find shorter screws but that of course didn't solve the issue with screws spinning. I finally got it secure and I love it now that I can enjoy it. I bought two of these fixtures and have been dreading installing the other one.
