Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Power This was a great idea, I thought, .. I bought this saw and put 4 AAA batteries in it, It says it only takes 2, Not the case.. I was excited to use it until we did, What a plastic piece of junk, Not enough torque to cut through the pumpkin.. It was like trying to use a hacksaw to cut a board.. It did cut at a speed of about 1 inch per minute, Very slow and it would stop randomly.. it took 2 minutes to cut out an small eyeLike I said I put the copper top batteries in it not generic ones.. Glad I only paid half price , Still wasn't worth that.. I will be taking it back for a refund.. Went back to the old skool knife and spoon.. Oh and the sawzall too....

The problem I had with it is that you have the side button you have to hold down while you are carving and it becomes difficult to use. I switch to a different after 5 minutes

The drill worked for about 2 minutes as I was carving the cap off the pumpkin, then it heated up, smelled like an electrical fire, and quit working. I plan on returning and not purchasing another.
