Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Bought this to replace a back flow preventer and frost free hose bib. Went back to a tried and true old school wall tap with a ball valve in the house to close for winter. This tap fit the bill perfectly. You will need to follow the instructions closely, when it says you need to push an inch of pex into the tap they mean it. At approx half an inch of Pex inserted it will feel like its fully home, but you need to really push on it for that last half inch, but it will go. The other reviewer complaining it popped off, likely didn't have the Pex fully pressed home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No solder outdoor water tap I like the angle it is set at. It is meant to be put in a recessed wall. I did not want to chip into my bricks so I used extra long concrete screws to secure it. Needs a firm push to get it seated but no soldering required!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from comes of and caused lots of wasted water I installed this faucet thinking it is so easy to cut the copper pipe and installed no soldering or hassle. Few month after I noticed it is leaking so when I open the water back after winter, I pushed in no problem anymore. One day my son calls me and inform me the garden is full of water and the faucet popped out of the wall, luckily this was not installed indoor. I shut the water off from inside and got a replacement and soldered this time.
