The biggest difference of the EVO is its second thread. This thread being slower than the first one will produce a clamping effect simply impossible to obtain with any other screw on the market today. Plus, the EVO 10 x 5 and 10 x 6 in. with its very special thread design is especially designed for toe screwing assemblies (angle) very common in framing and has to be one of the most innovative ideas to hit the fastener market in the past 15 years.
