Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sadly poor Just as others have said the sticky pads fall off when wet. Water drains too quickly. Hole took 30mins to drill. Water took 30s to drain. Gave up on this and got a Bosch drill bit. It wasn’t much faster but did at least maintain cutting ability.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 50/50 for me. I bought 2 of these kits. Seems like a nice design. Unfortunately it didn’t stick very well and if the drill was not perfectly straight it would catch the drill guide and cause the water reservoir to fall off. The tank and guide portion was pretty much useless for me. I ended up having to just dip the drill in water from time to time and didn’t use the little tank. The drill from the first kit only lasted for 1/2 a hole in 1 porcelain tile, which was very disappointing. The 2nd drill however completed the hole and then did another 5 holes with what seems like a lot of life still left on it. Very weird. Perhaps I hit a hard spot in the tile or maybe I had a soft drill. If I hadn’t bought 2 kits I would have been in a bind. It gets a 3 since one drill was awful but the other was very capable for the task.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tricky to use. Not too bad. Forget the drill it's worthless Chinese junk.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Flimsy guide, terrible cutter in the "kit" As a guide, it was pretty touchy but did keep the bit where it needed to be. However, the "made in china" bit wandered and barely scratched the tile. I picked up a couple "made in UK" bits as well and they cut through the tile nicely. Bad previous experiences, I picked up each vendors bit and the UK version was vastly superior. The China one didn't have any cutting edges at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean holes thru ceramic every time. The water delivery system made easy work of 6 holes thru ceramic tile. Use a small nail to clear the bit after each use. Use a few shots of canned air to dry off the self-adhesive seal before next hole. Follow directions about drill-and-lift and this will last for many repeats.

Plastic developed a crack with Step 1 assembly instructions of inserting the grey sleeve into the container. Adhesive doesn't hold once it gets wet. Only thing it's really good for when drilling porcelain is to get the initial intention drilled into the tile so the bit doesn't slip and mar the surface. Once this initial hole is setup, easier to continue with just the bit and dip the bit in a bucket of water every couple of seconds.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not drill porcelain tile. Won’t even scratch it. Waste of money for porcelain tile. Can’t say about ice cream. It might drill ice cream.
