Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great saw for small tiles This saw works great, but if you're going to work with tile that is larger than 6 or 7 inches, then you will need a larger one. Use in a place where it doesn't matter if you spill water, because the reservoir has an overflow, and water will leak from there during saw operation.

The blade is not set square to table and the guide fence. The table begins to rust after a few cuts making it difficult to slide tiles. Junk

I changed the blade that it comes with to a $15 dollar Avanti Turbo model I found in store. The machine did not bog down during my cuts. Nice smooth cuts. I'm even using the fence that most here say is no good. I just hold it flush at the back rail and lock it. The small markings on the rail help me to just increase or decrease the length of the cut. I just feel the fence cross those markings. Most cuts don't need to be that precise. You'll want to have a old kitchen towel to wipe the water off your tile. A small sponge to wipe the table off. A pail of water to rinse out the sponge now and then. A medium rough stone to knock the sharp edge of the tile. (I'm using a old piece of a grinding wheel/ it works great) Keep a bottle of water near too. The water level should be kept up. I'm seeing water escaping from the over fill hole. That's a concern to me. I'm overall very happy that I bought this 650 model. It's working just fine on my bathroom subway tile job. Remember to level the table and enjoy.

I used it only to cut small pieces that is too small to cut on the Seeutek 40” manual sliding tile cutter. The machine is very portable and easy to use and it has a powerful motor for small job and cut clean.

Great alternative for a DIYer at reasonable price when compared to rental saws. Buying allowed for flexibility vs being rushed with rental. Saw works great for cutting mosaic stone/glass backsplash; just have to be patient and let the saw do it’s work.

How is it for cutting stone, i want to install ledgestone around my fireplace maybe 50 cuts total.

Asked by: Nkav
Our saw will work for this job, however please make sure to change the blade to a Masonry blade with a 5/8" arbor. Cut slowly and keep water running at all times as this saw only has 3/4 horse power. We thank you for your interest in our products!
