Rated 1 out of 5 by from Motor died half way through I bought this tile saw for tiling my shower, half way through the project the motor died, during the last cut you heard it kind of failing and then it wouldn't turn on again; I maybe had it for a total of 3 hours before it died.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tilesaw Great price and worked perfectly on 7” tile and 24” ceramic tile, had to buy the upgrade blade for larger tiles but were thrilled with results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Backsplash Did a kitchen back splash worked great not for everyday jobs maybe but great for a few small ones costs less then renting one

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great saw, terrible manual I bought this saw to do the backsplash in my kitchen, a pretty small job. We had planned to rent a wet saw for a couple of days but in retrospect are really glad we bought this saw instead - it is roughly the same price as a one-day rental, it allowed us to do the job at our own (slow!) pace, it did a great job and we own it in case we lose our minds and decide to do more tiling in the future. ;) It is a 4" blade, not 3 1/4" as stated elsewhere in these reviews. After the roughly 100 cuts needed for our job it was still cutting fine but it would be no problem to add a new blade when necessary. Regarding the awful manual, If you have ever used a wet saw before, using this one will be no problem. We, however, have used lots of different kinds of saws but never a wet saw, and the manual was absolutely zero help when it came to assembling this one. The text regarding setting up the blade guard only made sense in retrospect (thank you UTube), the 'illustrative' photos were black blodges, there was literally no mention of where to put the water(!), the location of the overflow port (which becomes obvious immediately after you add the water) and so on. If you are new to wet saws do yourself a favor, visit a rental place and learn how to set it up. Then buy this one and use it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Impressed Bought it just over a warranty's year last year in June and did one big kitchen tile job with it and finally another tile job this month, (I'm a general contractor, not just a tiler) and the motor started squealing just before I finish this medium sized washroom job. Now I can't get it fixed under warranty because it's 20 days late. Would only recommend if you plan on using it for 1 job, which for the price point is alright but don't expect to use it professionally.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Caution - loose bolts New purchase; after cutting just six 12-inch porcelain tiles the saw started making a horrible noise. Discovered that two small bolts on rubber vibration-isolation washers below the blade spindle had come loose and one was grinding on the blade. Tightened carefully with a 7 mm wrench and now sounds OK. Will have to keep an eye on this. Also the blade rusts overnight if left wet - remove and dry every day. The actual cutting works well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY Does the job, BUT the product falsely advertises its blade as 4", where it is in fact only 3 3/4". Therefore, none of the actual 4" blades that you can easily purchase at your local hardware store are compatible!!! If you are doing a small tile work, its fine. if you are doing a large space, DONT BUY IT. I wish i can return it. what a waste of moeny.

Can you use this to cut Vinyl planking?

Asked by: George
The Torque Master Tile Saw is not designed for cutting vinyl planks. For vinyl planks, we would recommend one of our Roberts Multi Floor Cutters. Customer Care

Does this have chop action ability for U cuts? How thick a tile can it cut?

Asked by: Kmac
I don't think it has the capability of doing any chop cuts. It's just a hobby tool for bathroom and kitchen tiles. It probably can cut a half inch till but you will be there a while.
