Overview

Model # QWARM3X10F240 Store SKU # 1001611789

A gentle electric radiant heat system designed specifically for dry installation under floating wood and laminate floors. A low profile, line voltage system, it features gradual warmth from low wattage resistance heating of ultra-thin, flexible radiant heat film. Installed easily over a subfloor or over an acoustic/insulating underlayment as part of the overall floor assembly, it uses just 12-Watt per square foot to gently raise the temperature of the floor, conforming to the warranty requirements of many floating floors. The system, which sports an impressive 99% efficiency, includes temperature limiting properties so the film does not overheat. Its available in four convenient rollout mat sizes that will accommodate most any layout. Each mat has wires pre-attached for ease of installation.

  1. Use with most floating laminate, engineered wood and floating tile floors
  1. Easy to install: roll out, cut length to fit if needed and run pre-attached wires to a wall thermostat
  1. Maintenance free, crafted to not completely shut down if the system should ever become compromised or damaged
  1. Will not add extra height to the floor, only 0.016 in. thick
  1. Disperses an evenly consistent heat throughout the entire floor
  1. Adjust temperature with quiet warmth thermostat (sold separately)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy with the product so far Definitely will not heat the room but does make a nice warm surface to walk on. I used this underneath laminate flooring. (Thermostat is expensive)

Can I connect 4 heating pads 3ft x 10 ft 220v to the one thermostat in parallel. Do I need a floor sensor for each pad. Thanks

Asked by: Geoff
Thank you for reaching out Geoff. You can absolutely wire everything in parallel. You would only need on thermostat and one floor sensor for this application unless you wanted the mats to work independently of each other.

Can I install QuiteWarmth directly on Dricore Subfloor 23.25" x 47.25" x 1" Insul-Armor Premium Subfloor skipping QuiteWalk underlayment? The configuration would be as follows (from bottom to up): Concrete pad + Dricore Subfloor + QuiteWarmth + LVP.

Asked by: ValN
Thank you for reaching out. This would work just fine. Be sure you notch out a path for the lead wires to set down into the substrate. You do not want the wires to create a "tipping point" for the floor covering to rock back and forth on.

How hot does this get? Can I just use a dedicated switch instead of a thermostat? Pretty much wanting to know the standard temp it would be without having a thermostat and is it safe to just switch on (wont get crazy hot)? Thanks

Asked by: Bran
These require a thermostat

Can it be installed on DMX 1-Step2.0? Configuration as follows: Concrete pad + DMX+QuickWalk Underlayment+ QuickWarmth+LVP

Asked by: ValN
Thank you for reaching out. That will be more of a question for the flooring manufacturer. Providing the DMX product offers a smooth surface that meets our specifications, MP Global has no problems with that. You will need to ensure that the flooring manufacturer is satisfied with DMX as a substrate.

I want to replace my baseboard heaters which runs on 208v by warming mats. Are the 240v mats compatible with 208v? Anything to be aware of if they are?

Asked by: Remmun
Thank you for reaching out. The 240V mats require a dedicated circuit. If that circuit is less than 240V, the capacity is limited but will function.
