Good so farResurfaced onto spalled concrete with exposed fine river stone aggregate in spalled areas. Satisfied after 2 weeks. Resurfacer appears to be very fine sand aggregate with adhesion promoters and sets hard as nails. My application is 2 mm thick resurfacer on 5 driveway slabs previously patched at cracks and low spots. Driveway was pressure washed and wet vacuumed before resurfacer application which validated the patch adhesion also. Used trowel "pound down" then broom finish all the way to ensure adhesion. (I don't trust a rubber squeegee to bond spalled areas even with micro toppings) .Will recommend product if it holds this winter.
CONDITION : 5 driveway slabs that rarely see auto traffic but see a lot of pedestriaan traffic. Algae and dirt pentration with pea gravel pits in some areas. Some slabs were sunk about 1 inch at the corner since adjacent trees prevented slab jack that was done on the auto mainway.
METHOD AND RESULT : Used minimum 3/16 inch th resurfacer and up to 1 inch in layers at a few corners.
Mixed in 5 gal pail then trowel pounded down resurfacer then broomed the surface.
NEGATIVES : Material is not cheap and the one bag mix does not go far and sets quickly which requires a rapid application. It is very difficult to use this material without adding a little more water depending on weather and substrate absorption.
OVER ASPHALT ? :Contact the vendor for this question but to my knwledge asphalt over concrete works but not the other way around. In my opinion asphalt looks ugly and is supper hot in the sun.
ASphalt contains some nasty by products also so down't put out a lawn chair on it.

Not unless it is outdoors, and is made of concrete, as the preparation for using QUIKRETE Concrete Resufacer is to clean the existing surface with a 3500 psi minimum pressure washer. For proper bond, it is critical that the concrete countertop is not sealed, painted, or coated. Color uniformity of the overlay will be affected by water quantity, cleanliness of equipment, application technique, environmental conditions when applied, color variation of underlying concrete, and how wet the concrete is when the Concrete Resurfacer is applied, so it is essential that all variables be kept as constant as possible throughout the entire job. Mixing up a small trial batch is always recommended before using in a full-scale project to ensure that the color is acceptable.
