Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, and works well! I used this last week to set in four anchor bolts into the face of a concrete wall for mounting a sign. I used the Epoxy with a metal caulking gun I also bought from HD. Yes it is a bit hard to squeeze the product out using the caulking gun, but it wasn't too bad at all. More importantly the mixing nozzle helped get the product into the drilled hole, and the product was really thick and set quickly allowing me to get the anchor bolts straight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Use This product is easy to use...even just part of a tube. You must discard the mixing nozzle once used once and re-cap the two chambers. Make sure you recap white to white so it does not harden. You can use more from the tube later by un-capping and installing a new nozzle. It us important to note that you have used all the product when your plunger is half way into the tube. It would be helpful if each tube included two nozzles, or extra nozzles were sold separately at a nominal price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from busyconcreteguy This product requires a $75 caulking gun, you'll never get the material out with a regular gun, it will break it. Home Depot doesn't sell guns for this material. I tried another one that Home Depot had by Sika. It came out no problem and worked well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expensive for the amount Tubes are deceiving in the amount inside ,and out of the 6 i ordered 2 were out of date and 1 of those were gone hard..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked but..... Bought this to fill some vertical cracks in our basement foundation. This was by far the hardest application of any product I’ve ever used. Our caulking gun could barely push product out of the tube. My partner and I would have to take turns applying the product because our hands were weak from squeezing the caulking gun handle so flipping hard... and I would like to think that we have quite a bit of strength between the two of us. Also as another reviewer said, only 50% of the tube is usable. We spent almost $50 on two tubes and by the time half of the tube was used, it was almost impossible to push the product out of the tube. I wouldn’t recommend this product based on application. It’s much to difficult for the average user.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Great anchoring power. I installed a dancing pole on a concrete ceiling/floor with 1/2 bolts set in epoxy.. Lots of amateur reviewers who don't know how to use the product. To get it to dispense easier, soak the tube in boiling hot water for ten minutes, or, leave it in direct sunlight. It flows very poorly when cold. Check the expiry date, if its old, it will be too hard to dispense. At one HD, the entire stock was expired by a year. If it doesn't fit your caulking gun, use a little common sense just cut 1" off the tube end.as the tube isn't full, The dispensing tube starts to harden very quickly. Dispense the amount you need without the tube and mix it by hand. Blow all the dust out of your pre-drilled hole. The dust will cause it not to adhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only 50% of each tube usable I just purchased Quikcrete Fast Set Anchoring Epoxy, I have a high strength commercial grade caulking gun and have used other brands anchoring epoxy often, so I'm familiar with the nature of the product. Tried two tubes, each time the epoxy cured inside the actual cartridge (not the nozzle) when the tube was about half way used up. I have a high strength commercial grade caulking gun, similar to the one shown in the Quikcrete How To Video, and have used other brands anchoring epoxy a few times in the past, so I'm familiar with the nature of the product. I checked the nozzle, no epoxy was cured, I took off the nozzle, nothing was cured on the cartridge side. I even tried a new nozzle, and nothing was dispensable from the cartridge. It was like a small amount of epoxy cured on the inside somehow preventing a tubes full use. I tried twice, and even sped up my working speed on the 2nd tube. The temperate was 25 deg C outside, but the substrate would have been 10-15 deg C. I tried to use up each tube within 5 minutes (even timed it!). The tube itself says working time is 11 minutes, I think it's more like 2-3 minutes. Even so, I've used other products with a working time of 2-3 minutes and was able to use the entire tube no problem. So, the product works well, but I was only able to get 50% of each tube used, effectively doubling the price. Would not recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't fit in a standard caulking gun Doesn't fit in a standard "professional" caulking gun also bought at home depot. Very annoying.

What is the yield of one tube? It's definitely not 300ml.

Asked by: Tomas
Each caulking-gun tube of QUIKRETE® FastSet Anchoring Epoxy produces approximately 255 ml of mixed epoxy. For further installation information, please visit our video at https://www.quikrete.com/athome/video-anchoring-epoxy.asp

Is is possible to increase the viscosity or thin the material inside the tube to make it easier to dispense by heating it somehow. Maybe immerse briefly in a tub of hot water or place in a 250 degree F oven for a couple of minutes....microwave????

Asked by: RSte
The cartridge is made of plastic, so just stand it in hot water prior to use. Using an inexpensive dual cartridge caulking gun will make dispensing the epoxy effortless even in cold temperatures.
