Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's easy, but for a reason. It works OK. I set 29 fence posts and the next morning I had to re-set 3 of them because when I touched them the concrete basically crumbled and the post came out. I followed instructions on the bag. If I know now what I knew before I got this product, I would have elected to go with ehe normal concrete and mixed it the old way. I only recommend this product if you don't have anything to mix normal concrete in. I am not suspecting my fence to last very long. At least not as long as it should. Simply because of this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Really easy to use. Makes planting your fence posts simple and not so messy. Pour in the dry mix, align the post, level the post, and add in the recommended amount of water. Don't disturb for at least 30 mins and that's it.

What color is this product? Can this be used to make smaller objects like pots and planters?

Asked by: Vina
Unless you add colour to any concrete it will always be gray/grey/gris.  This product has a lot of stone in it which might make for an interesting design but in my opinion it is not what you are looking for for a project like yours.  There are other kinds for that.

if I am adding more than 1 bag , Do I add each bag with water at a time. or do I add all the requires bags at once with the required water?

Asked by: Donny
You can do it either way but I mix each bag separately in a wheelbarrow to get it fully combined and then would add another bag.  I didn’t combine more than two at a time

in relation to my previous question about , should i use one bag at a time or all three at once , would digging my own hole by hand make a difference ? im going three feet deep and ten inches dia ?

Asked by: tired
If you are setting a post, place post into hole and temporarily stand straight. The hole diameter should be 3 times the post diameter. The depth of the post hole should be one-half of the above ground post height. Pour dry mix into the hole until it is approximately 2’6” deep. Place the material in lifts of 2' 6" or less to allow water to soak all the way through. Fill the remainder of the hole with soil dug from the hole

For a 48" deep and 12" wide 4x4 post, how many bags do I require? Based on my calculation is around 6.28 bags? Calc: 3.14xsqr(0.5)x4=3.14/0.5=6.28bags

Asked by: fach1511
7 bags of 30kg will do the trick. https://www.calculator.net/concrete-calculator.html is a great calculator for concrete needs. Also, if you try to buy just 0.28 bags, you will find that people will judge you.

Why does the bag claim you can use the product "without mixing" when we see an example of mixed concrete in the wheelbarrow being shovelled into a hole?

Asked by: patty86
Because it does not require you to additionally purchase a tandem load of gravel to mix in either an electric or gas cement mixer.
