using quikcrete fence and post , ill be using three to four bags per hole , should i " do" one bag at time or pour all at once ?

Asked by: tired
If you are setting a post, place post into hole and temporarily stand straight. The hole diameter should be 3 times the post diameter. The depth of the post hole should be one-half of the above ground post height. Pour dry mix into the hole until it is approximately 2’6” deep. Place the material in lifts of 2' 6" or less to allow water to soak all the way through. Fill the remainder of the hole with soil dug from the hole

What color is this product? Can this be used to make smaller objects like pots and planters?

Asked by: Vina
It was gray, and while I don’t do pottery I don’t think this would work as it’s a mix of rocks up to several cm in diameter and cement mix.

What is the difference between this and Quikrete Fast Setting Concrete Mix - besides one being $2.00 more. This product isn't listed on the Quikrete website and cant find information about it.

Asked by: j1234
I bought 30 bags of this product this past summer. I personally didn't see any difference in the fence n post and the fast setting concrete. Maybe there's some sort of slight difference in ingredients, again, not sure. But the moral of it all is that they both set to 4000 PSI after 28 days. So they do the same job at the end of the day. If I were you, I'd just buy the cheaper one.
