It's easy, but for a reason. It works OK. I set 29 fence posts and the next morning I had to re-set 3 of them because when I touched them the concrete basically crumbled and the post came out. I followed instructions on the bag.
If I know now what I knew before I got this product, I would have elected to go with ehe normal concrete and mixed it the old way.
I only recommend this product if you don't have anything to mix normal concrete in. I am not suspecting my fence to last very long. At least not as long as it should. Simply because of this product.
What color is this product? Can this be used to make smaller objects like pots and planters?

It was gray, and while I don’t do pottery I don’t think this would work as it’s a mix of rocks up to several cm in diameter and cement mix.

What is the difference between this and Quikrete Fast Setting Concrete Mix - besides one being $2.00 more. This product isn't listed on the Quikrete website and cant find information about it.

I bought 30 bags of this product this past summer. I personally didn't see any difference in the fence n post and the fast setting concrete. Maybe there's some sort of slight difference in ingredients, again, not sure. But the moral of it all is that they both set to 4000 PSI after 28 days. So they do the same job at the end of the day. If I were you, I'd just buy the cheaper one.

Why does the bag claim you can use the product "without mixing" when we see an example of mixed concrete in the wheelbarrow being shovelled into a hole?
Asked by: patty86
Because it does not require you to additionally purchase a tandem load of gravel to mix in either an electric or gas cement mixer.

how many bags will i need to pour in a 3 foot deep 10 inch wide hole for footing tubes
im building a 6' tall fence and im not sure how many bags I will need for 4 footings can I get some info please

Each 30 kg bag of QUIKRETE Fence N’ Post Concrete Mix yields approximately 0.5 cubic feet. A pour that is 3 foot deep, with a 10 inch diameter, is approximately 1.65 cubic feet, which will require 3-4 bags. This is approximate and will be affected by waste, uneven subgrade, etc.

what is temperature range for concrete to set outdoor (in cold weather)
Asked by: Anonymous
In cold weather, the concrete must be protected from freezing for at least 48 hours after it is placed, when using a fast setting concrete such as QUIKRETE Fence N’ Post #110530. Additionally, it must be mixed with water before being placed.
