Been in business for over 20 years and I decided to use this product for the first and LAST time. Each container has product inconsistencies. Nozzle continues too clog with debris. We had to abandon the project apologise to the client and advised will return with a better repair system. Have nothing good to say. You should seriously audit your quality control before putting this product on the market.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed Bought 4 bottles 2021-10-10, wanted to use the item on 2021-10-11, Shook one bottle as hard as I could and when opened it, little bit on top was still liquid and the rest on bottom was solid like a brick, even poking a screw driver in this solid was difficult. No matter how hard one can try shaking a brick, it will never become a slurry and will remain a brick. Returned all 4 bottles to Home Depot on 2021-10-11 for a refund.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product. Works well for small cracks. Good product. Easy to use to fill small cracks in basement concrete floor pad. Flows well into small cracks (like 1/8" or so). But that means when filling larger cracks or holes it will just run right down into it and you can use a lot of product trying to build it up. In this case you may have to press a backing strip into the crack first or use multiple passes of this product (waiting for it to to set-up between). Overall, happy with this product. Easy to use, cures overnight, no crazy odours, and adheres well to concrete.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does NOT work !!!! Flacking appeared only after a few weeks. This product does NOT work !!! and is very poor quality. The manufacturer engineer informed me not to expect much as it is a water based. He apologized and gave me recommendations for other products,... that was it. Do NOT avoid other negative reviews as I did. Most people are telling the truth about their negative experiences with this product and other ones too. I highly recommend reading all or most negative review first and contacting the manufacture for additional info before any project that you may have. This is to avoid future re-do's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Filled 3/8 wide crack in basement with good result I found it worked very well: If you have a deep crack, it is important to fill crack first with either fine sand or backer rod otherwise product will continue to run deep into crack as the product is thin and self leveling. I used a hammer/chisel to open up the top of the crack a bit and then bevelled the edges with an oscillating tool. (You can also use an angle grinder with a masonary disc to open things up a bit.) I then poured in some sand until it was about 1/4 inch from the surface & then poured the quickrete over the sand following the crack line-leaving it a little higher than the surrounding surface. Give it 24 hours to cure before adding any additional quickcrete sealer if product shrinks a bit during drying process.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible! I can’t believe how terrible this product is. Same issue as everyone else, top is liquid and the bottom is solid and Impossible to mix. Nozzle gets clogged and was able to salvage maybe a third of the product and the rest went in the garbage.

Can I use paint or finishing product over this filler?

I used this product to repair a concrete birdbath that had a major crack in it. I put several layers on to fill the crack and, when it was fully dry, I painted the inside of the birdbath with acrylic paint. That was last year and the paint stayed on all summer with water in it every day.

QUIKRETE&reg; Concrete Crack Seal is only intended for horizontal cracks. It is not non-sag, and will pour out of vertical cracks.
