Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product! We really like this system. Allows for full deck surface to be enjoyed. Also good for shoveling snow off in winter as it leaves a gap. Also works with the Hoft Solutions privacy panel posts as the mounting plates are the same hole pattern. Overall super happy with this and my parents are now thinking of using the same system for their deck. The lag bolts that come with this are almost 2 inches to long though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great but hard to install The opening for securing the nuts and washers is very tight. We kept losing the nuts and washers inside (screwdriver helped fish them out). In the end we kept using tape to secure the nuts and washers. Overall, the fascia mount system looks nice but it makes an already frustrating installation process more difficult.

Which way is more recommended: Following the slope of the deck or installing level? If you install level and you have sloped your deck there would be a difference in the bottom railing gap.

Asked by: D Lo
Hi D Lo, thank you for your question. This largely will depend on the slope. If the difference in bottom railing gap at one end is larger than 2-3/8" at one end when the rail is level then you may need to consider installing per the slope of the deck. You can also consider the fasia mounted brackets that will allow you to adjust the height of each post slightly and helps keep things level. Thank you.

Hi, If using the fascia mount for the posts, what do I do with the middle attachment point in the base rail?

Asked by: Udi1000
Hello, and thank you for your question. The fascia brackets have their own base rail support that angles in to meet the fascia. It installs in to the bottom of the base rail the same way as the surface mounted version. Please give us a call if you have any further questions at all 877-883-7325. Thank you!
