Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for garden. Untested on vampires. I used these to set up a temporary fence to protect a duck nest in my backyard from my dog and other wildlife. These are really sturdy and they do the job. These are 2in x 2in so they will stand the test of time. A couple had knots, so don't expect aesthetic perfection but I don't imagine anyone is intending to buy them as showpieces.

They used to be decent stakes with only the odd one that had a defect (bark wane or ant holes, etc, and no splitting). I purchased 100 last week and I would say 90% have a defect, mainly bark wane or splitting. I will have to look another supplier for wood stakes.
