Also, I had to use a spacer to raise the can so that the can's lip would not hang up on the door hinge.

Since they offer the Lid separate and I am force to buy the lid means No other choice. They should have package the Trash Can and the Lid together as better benefit for the consumer. Overall the product is good NOT the price.

What is the exact dimensions of the plastic waste bin? I need to know the HEIGHT/DEPTH/WIDTH of the plastic bin to check if it will hit the plumbing that runs under my kitchen sink. I'm surprised you don't already show this info.

The assembled dimensions are as follows - Assembled Depth (in inches) 16 Assembled Height (in inches) 17.31 Assembled Weight (in lbs) 9.5 Assembled Width (in inches) 14.38 This includes the sliding frame that mounts in the cabinet, so you would be able to determine if there would be any under sink interference in the cabinet.
