This Real Solutions Single Soft-Closing Waste & Recycling Bin Unit features one 29 qt. platinum-colored waste bin held securely in place on a sliding steel frame. The unit pulls out of the cabinet smoothly on heavy-duty, full-extension ball bearing slides, and closes gently and quietly with Soft-Close technology - eliminating slamming, banging, and finger-pinching. The sliding steel frame installs easily using 4 included screws and the unit includes a clip-on handle for easy removal of the bin from the cabinet. An optional door-mount bracket is available and sold separately, which enables the unit to glide out as the cabinet door is opened (PDMKTPT).

What is the dimension of the garbage can itself? I am assuming the assembled width of 16.88 is the metal frame ... i have plumbing in the way, but if the dimension for garbage is little smaller then it will work!!

Holly - the 16.88 dimension does include the frame and slides. The actual bin dimensions are 8.125" wide, 11.625" deep and 17.875" tall.

Does this come with a lid? The description says it does but picture does not show it.

awright888 - Checking the description, we do not see where it states a lid is available. There is an optional lid that does fit this unit (QT35LB-PT), but it is NOT included.

Are the dimensions in the specification correct? Compering it with the picture they may not be. Please confirm. My opening measures 15 3/4 and depth 141/4. Thank you
