Can this be installed into an existing paver patio by cutting the pavers and dropping this into the trench?
Asked by: Barb
Hi Barb, You can certainly install the RELN Storm Drain channel into an existing paver patio. If there will be no vehicle traffic, concrete is not required. My suggestion, to ensure channel drain is securely staked in the ground, the RELN Channel Drain Stake Kit Part 003103 is an ideal solution for this application. Do they connect end to end and what is needed for draining on the end if you do connect more than one together?

Asked by: Howard
I connected 2 10 foot sections as well as 2 40 inch sections by just snapping them together. On one end I used an end seal that snaps in as well and on the other end I used an adapter for a 4" drain pipe elbow followed by 10 foot lengths of 4 inch drain pipe. I did use PVC cement for the piping and probably should have done so for the other connections as well, but the drainage grates are holding together fine without the cement. The adapter and end plate are purchased separately and there are other grate connection choices.

Is there drainage from the bottom of the grate?

Asked by: Brad
No, it drains to a pipe that you install at the same time. Where you send the drainage is another issue depending on your location and situation.
