Model # FLY TRAP 12 Store SKU # 1000160474

The RESCUE! Non-Toxic Disposable Fly Trap is baited for hundreds of fly species which are most common in agricultural areas including house flies, false stable flies, blow flies, blue and green bottle flies, flesh flies, face flies and many others. The RESCUE! Fly Trap contains a fast-acting fly attractant that starts working as soon as you add water. Food and feed additives are combined with other dried ingredients to make the RESCUE! attractant. Lured by the scent, flies enter through the top cap and drown in the water. Once lured inside the trap, the flies cannot escape and drown in the water added to the bag. The RESCUE! Fly Trap is intended for use outdoors. It will help control the fly population outside before it ever becomes a nuisance inside. The RESCUE! Fly Trap can be used whenever hot, humid conditions or the presence of animals or garbage causes an outdoor fly problem.

  1. Never touch bait or flies
  1. No-mess disposal
  1. Catches up to 20,000 flies

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product, but smaller size more effective than bigger size. I was amazed how effective the smaller size of these is. There were hundreds of flies in each of these, within a few hours. We hung five in various places near our barn and compost pile, and they were amazing. I love that they do not involve spraying chemicals all over the place. Apparently the flies just drown in the water. We then tried the bigger size, but it seems that the more liquid in the bag, the more the smelly part (which attracts the flies) settles to the bottom rendering it less attractive to the flies. We are now huge fans of the smaller size and have noticeably less flies around the house and barn.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It truly does work! I could not believe how quickly it worked! A couple of issues, 1)What probably is the main reason it works is also one of the worst aspects of it, THE SMELL!!!The odor spreads out over a wide area & it really reeks on a windy day. 2)Be prepared 4 hanging when u get it home because there is nothing in the product 2 help u hang it. An old wire hanger r an extra long and strong tie like u might find on large items as a tie. It is really interesting that once the flies get in they can't get out. I even see a lot of knats in with them. Disposal might be an issue for some. Really happy with the effectiveness, therefore, the price is fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does The Job Product came recommend by a friend and I decided to try it. Best thing I ever did. My neighbors have a lot of fruit trees which attract flies. I like to circulate air in my home and do not have a screen door on my back door just yet. I always always had flies in the house ... gross!! The trap bag has been up for about a month (almost time to replace). I get an occasional lost fly in the house but not like before. The bag has eliminated my problem up to 99%. The bag does smell bad so I have it set up behind my garage at the rear of my property away from the main house. It is near the trash cans so the smell doesn't really bother anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stinks, but it works! I'm on my 3rd bag in just two months; it works that well! About an hour after hanging this up I already saw a handful of flies around the trap; after about a week & 1/2 there were dead flies about 2 inches deep inside. Very gross but obviously effective. I hang it close to my compost bin and our recycling bin and yes it starts smelling pretty rank, but the flies and gnats love it and I'm killing less flies in the house (hooray!!). Side note: don't throw this bag away before trash day unless you want that many more flies buzzing around your trash can!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Genius! Effective, easy to set up, affordable and most important, non-toxic. Hang downwind away from people area not because of aroma (only noticeable a couple feet away) but to avoid being in the line of flight as they rush to their demise. Directions state dispose when full or 30 days when bait is no longer effective. Will always have a spare. Finally, I can enjoy my patio without a flyswatter in my hand.

It works great, I trap hundreds of flies a month. I probably will catch every fly in the county. My fly problem was under control last year, but after a mild winter, I've had to double my usage. I now use 2 or 3 bags in the backyard and 2 in the front. Be sure to keep them at least 20ft from the house or where you gather. Be careful in handling, when disposing them, close them, keep them upright and multi bag them just before trash pick up.Don't drop them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s like CRACK TO FLIES and ROACHES! We live in the Coachella Valley and we became inundated with flies!! We work in our backyard every week and it was unusually hot weather late in April ( it’s usually spring time weather). After googling the natural and easy to create a concoction via Pinterest, I was not confident. So I went on YouTube and discovered that MANY reviewers overwhelmingly recommend “Rescue”. I bought 2 at Home Depot. IT WORKED ON CONTACT AUTOMATICALLY as soon as I hung them on the Shepard hook! If you look carefully, a cockroach crawled into the bag! I’m VERY IMPRESSED and HAPPY!!!! I’m buying more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fly Trap! I am in the process of removing the dirt from my front yard that neighborhood cats are using as a litter box. This cat activity is causing an unbelievable increase of flies since it is summer time. I have used the Yellow Jacket Wasp traps from this company and they worked really well, so I thought I would give the fly trap a chance. It was easy to use and worked really amazingly!! I filled the bag with water, hung near the area, and in less than a day the whole bag was totally filled with flies. I was so shocked that it worked so well. I like that I can just discard the bag and hang a new one.

Is the smell of the attractant strong, do I want to put it farther away from where we would be sitting?

Asked by: Tina
It did smell (to me it wasn’t very strong). But you will be able to determine how strong it is as soon as you open it. DEFINITELY put it away from where you are. It didn’t click that it was an “ATTRACTANT” until we had over 50 flies buzzing around it and 4x more inside!
