Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wrestled out badly rusted element Not very strong. When I couldn't turn it - the lever is too short to provide enough torque. When I added a copper pipe to the supplied lever I just bent it vs getting element to twist out. Starting to think I needed a plumber $$$$$ or new heater!! Needed a very large pipe wrench on top of the home depot wrench to turn the element and my neighbour had one!! Great ending!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong product Do not buy this product to open a used element. It has a very weak design. The handle bent and I replace it with a screwdriver. The first screwdriver bent from the handle and I used the bigger one then it brock and injured my hand. I used a wrench and got a Titan 6-point socket that is specially designed for removing and replacing elements in most electric water heaters. It worked perfectly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap and worth it. Don't buy this if the tank has been in use long. The fitment of the wrench is not tight enough to grip the element well. Also the handle is not strong enough and bent to uselessness as soon as I used it.

Seriously? WHAT SIZE IS THIS?!?! Seems like a pretty basic piece of information to include for a socket.
