Richelieus Pivoting Plastic 13 L (13.7 qt.) Waste Bin is a convenient solution for disposing of kitchen waste. Designed to be installed inside the cabinet under your sink, the bin saves space in the kitchen and keeps waste out of sight. The attached lid minimizes odors and opens automatically when you open the cabinet door. Equipped with a handle for easy emptying and cleaning, the bin also has a sleek Italian design that complements any decor. Its ideal for managing wet waste like peels, leftovers, and other food items. Recommended for frameless cabinets with plain doors only, the bin can be installed on either the right or left cabinet door. Installation is simple and takes about 20 minutes. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Installation very difficult … The quality of the plastic is really the lowest quality in the Richelieu line; but it is not expensive, and it is quiet once installed. I ordered a metal one before and inside bin would rattle loudly when opening/closing. However, installation was extremely difficult. Even using the template, the lid would not fully seal the can. It left about a 1.5 inch gap. To ensure the lid would align to the can when closed, I had to keep putting it back and forth and ended up with extra holes in the cabinet. Maybe for someone who is quite handy and used to DIY a lot of things, it is not a problem. My experience is limited but not to the level of not knowing how to instal a garbage bin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really, really cheaply made I just received this and before installiing, I can tell that is is the most cheaply made product I think I've ever seen. My mother has an older version of the same thing with a metal frame and it works well, the lid closes nicely and makes a seal. I'm not hopeful about this one. It is all plastic and there is no way the lid will make any kind of seal. Extremely disappointed. I will install it but I won't throw out the wire bag holder it is meant to replace as I'm sure this won't last a year. The reason they don't sell this in stores, I am certain, is that you wouldn't buy it at any price if you saw how flimsy and cheap it is.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Super flimsy design It is not for an ordinary housewife to install. Cabinet under the sink is always in tight space, it requires accurate dimensions to install. The lid opening is super flimsy, the plastic is cheap. I guess the high price is because the freight as the bin cannot be collapsed during shipping. Based on my experience, this is only worth 1/2 the price, there are other choices.

It's smaller than expected, incredibly flimsy plastic and far too expensive for what you get. The install instructions were also pretty useless. I had to go to youtube to get direction from a video.
