Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for converting a recliner to swivel Bought this to convert my LaZBoy recliner to a swivel chair. It claims 1000 pounds of load and I believe it. We sandwiched it between two boards of wood, put the recliner on top, and it swivels like a dream. Quiet and smooth. Affixing it to the boards of wood was a bit of struggle at first, you have to pre-drill some holes through one of the boards to screw into opposite side of the plate, but we figured it out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Noisy It’s pretty loud, metal bearings rolling in a metal casing, who would have thought that would be quiet? The grinding noise is a little irritating. I have seen Lazy Susan’s that have silent bearings wish I could fInd one.
