Built with strength and durability in mind, invisible hinges are ideal for creating slick and modern designs for frameless furniture, bathroom cabinets, and kitchen cabinets. With inside cabinet mounting and a 90º opening angle, the hinges are perfect for the most common types of cabinets. For heavier and taller doors, it is recommended to use more than two hinges, but a minimum of two hinges per door is required. This variable overlay hinge features a zinc finish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy installation -- but find the Instructions Bought & installed these yesterday, after reading these reviews. Look up the (minimal) instructions on the Richelieu site before you drill a hole. You should be able to find them here: https://static.richelieu.com/documents/docsGr/100/811/8/1008118/1365841.pdf I'm no expert on these, but I got them installed and trued up reasonably well. I built a simple project box to hold craft supplies, and did two "french door" style cabinet doors. In hindsight, things would have been easier with a single door. But "fortune favours the bold." Home Depot -- It would be very helpful if you had the instructions as one of the pictures for this product. Even better if you had a few enhanced instructions on how to level and true up the doors.

My cabinet has 3/4" thick side panels and the door is 1" thick. Will these hinges work?

Yes this hinge is designed to work with 3 types of applications including the inset version. The hinge is not designed for doors any heavier that 4kgs or 8lbs and adjustment is very minimal. Owen Freeman National Account Manger Richelieu Hardware

Hi, I installed these hinges, made sure they're level and properly measured. I find them very "squeaky". There's a narrower part of the centre barrel, is that the door side or the cabinet side? Does it matter? Thanks,

how do you install this product-any templates for help

I am trying to install kitchen 3/4 cabinet doors but am having a hard time placing the hinges properly.

Sorry for the delay in answering as I was off recovering from surgery and hopefully you have been succesful in the installation of the hinges. The hinge is a 90dg opening hinge that can be used with overlay or inset applications on panels from 5/8" to 3/4" thickness. The easiest way is to install the hinges in the closed postion after you have your door properly aligned to the side gable. This hinge is noted as an "economy' concelaed hinge and you may find the action of them stiff in comparison to the Premium Blum concealed hinge. In the instruction guide for installing this hinge the terms "full overlay", "half overlay" and "inset" are used. What do these mean?

Hello, It has to do with how much of the cabinet frame shows around the door. I would recommend looking it up online as it needs more explanation than can be provided here, but basically, full over lay will cover the entire cabinet frame, partial will show some of the cabinet frame, and inset will show the entire frame as the door sits flush with the frame.
