This heavy-duty storm door closer features winter and summer settings for when screens are used instead of glass and features an air by-pass for extra latching power. The closing speed is controlled by an adjustment screw at the end of the tube. Tightening the screw will slow the closing, loosening it will speed it up. All fasteners and brackets are included. The flat torsion bar on the closer flexes under pressure, providing extra closing force to aid in the latching of heavy doors. The quick-hold feature replaces the traditional sliding washer, simply push door slowly until it clicks to keep open at a 75-degree angle, and push door further to close.Easy to install using the existing holes on your door.
