Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gone downhill I have owned 4 of these saws. The first lasted 3 years and I simply wore it out on site and transporting it. The next two lasted a year , year and a half. I broke one in transport and the next the motor burned up. As a pro I need a saw almost every day and waiting for repair is not an option so, I bought another one. It lasted just over two months and maybe ripped 30 sheets of lite MDF , and the motor burned out! I understand the 30 day return/ replacement but as I said I need a saw to work with and cannot wait for repair, but two months on a new saw? I left the saw at the return counter. I would not recommend this saw as it seems as the price dropped so did the quaility. Great features IF it runs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge Difference Bought this to replace my old Ryobi saw and all I can say is WOW. Obviously, you can't compare the brands too much but I'm amazed at the quality of this saw and the portability. I love the fact that can dial in the angle of the blade which the turn of a wheel vs the usual unlock and pull by hand till you get it right. These plus the ability to plug in a vacuum to collect most of the dust was key as I work in my garage a lot and hate having dust go everywhere. What even put me down this path is that it seems most job site saws are going to 8.25 blades due to regulation changes and I have new 10 inch blades that I didn't want to get rid of.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality This Ridgid R4516 saw has some really bad reviews all over the net. I bought one 3 years ago, was working fine, as it should for the price I paid, until, yesterday. Turned it on, started to run a piece of wood through it, the motor stopped. Checked the cord, checked all to do with the power coming to the saw, all good. Decided to remove the switch to see if a wire was loose, connections seemed good, when I went to screw the switch back onto the body of the saw, all 4 screws just keep spinning and spinning, with a hand driver, no pressure, no bite. There's two problems with this saw. First and last Ridgid product I will purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good saw, great price Waited like everyone else when it goes on sale for $400. These are popular for a reason, affordable and they last when they work. It will fit in your car if you take it out of the box, throw the accessories in the trunk and saw in the back seat. Left the box at the store, away I went. Got home and read the assembly instructions/ pictures. Not hard if you know how to read diagrams. You'll see on here that people say instructions are not clear enough and need to watch videos. I don't understand but to each their own. Got the saw home, went over it twice, plugged it in and let it run for 10 mins. Turned it off, done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well engineered saw I had to downsize because of space restrictions. This saw is a great compromise when space is limited. Well engineered and easy to use. It's louder than my old belt drive saw, but cuts well. Great fence and mitre gauge for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent table saw ... I bought this saw around two years ago and really enjoy working with. It’s very portable and fits into my shed along with other tools where space is limited. I am using this saw extensively for many projects around the house. The only issue was to remove and put it back the fence onto tight plastic brackets. I simply filled some extra material form plastic brackets (top and bottom) so now I can remove and put it back the fence with no difficulty. Be aware that the clear plastic small measuring guide on the table next to measuring fixed tape it’s a little bit flimsy and cutting length needs to be checked each and every time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Money spent better else PROS, * light weight and easy to move * Price * solid tires rather than air tires (flats) * virtually no set-up * smooth easy cut CONS, * I was alittle concerned of front to back frame movement (wobble) when I cut a full sheet of plywood. * EXTREMELY NOISY * Super loud whine to the motor. Could be the high RPM's maybe * Laboured on start up after switch is turned one. *Smaller deck compared to what I am use to I returned this unit and bought the Ridgid cast iron model R4512. A little lower rpm's but still good. Very please so far with the upscaled model to the portable. For the money it is a reasonable purchase. Biggest turn off for me was the extreme loudness.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible Fence I bought this table saw about 1.5 month ago. It has many great features such as the slow start, and the stand with wheels. On the other side it comes with several functionality issues: 1) Terrible Fence: I recieved the package with a broken fence, meaning that one of the springs that keeps the fence parallel to the blade is broken and I have to use a square to check its angle to the blade FOR EVERY CUT. 2) the cross cut tool is very loose. You can clearly see it moves in the groove for 2-3 degrees. 3) Although wheels can be very useful but they make the stand not solid and it can tilt a bit when pushing a wood on top of the saw I will return this item as the Rigid company is not responsive and it is still within the 3 month that I purchaced it,

Just double checking ... will this saw fully assembled on it's stand, fit through a 30" doorway? The specs say assembled width is 29.07" so "technically" it should fit but sometimes printed dimensions aren't always 100% accurate?

Asked by: Beacher
It will, even if it won’t roll through on the wheels it will fit sideways with a lot of room to spare.

I can’t get the rip guide to store flush... I know it can’t be the design, so it must be me... little thing, but really bugs me! Anyone else have the same issue?

Asked by: Liam_T
The first few times i didn't get mine to go in either. Then one time i gave it a little extra shove and it went home. Better it's a snug fit than loose. If like mine it came in it's storage position, and was pushed home, then it should go back in. Don't break your housing, but give it a little extra when you slide it home.

Is there a dust collector bag for the ejector port on this table saw?

Asked by: John
Hi John, There is not a dust collection bag with this tool. There are adapters that are easily available to use with this saw so you can manage dust collection.
