Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ridgid 12" miter saw R4222 and Ridgid Miter saw stand AC9946 The review is for both products The saw has many nice features, but has server problems. I had to buy and return 3 saws, all had issue with sliding that was not smooth. on one unit the blade was wobbling. On all they spread the dust all over, as the dust collector catch 20% of the sawing dust. it is too small and not low enough. it is a heavy saw. Calling Rigid tech support, they only recommend to take it to service center. it looks like the sliding bars are not aligned. the Miter saw stand, in order not to lift the saw, and place it on a standard stand (with no wheels), I decided to buy the stand. The stand is big an heavy, and you can leave the saw on the stand (save you the lifting). The problem is to open (extend it, and fold it back). With the heavy saw mounted on it, using your weight to extend it is hardly enough, you have to release the lock, and go to the other side to lift it. It is not easy to fold it either.. If you move the saw to one of the sides, you can not open/ close the sliding bars. I am thinking to get the Bosch stand, it seems to be smaller, easy to open. I wish that rigid will improve the stand, to make it smaller and easy to open

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Stand - Missing Parts - Horrible Instructions I choose this stand over the Dewalt stand mainly for its wheels. How anyone moves the Dewalt stand with a heavy saw on it around a job site with such small wheels is a mystery to me. In any case, upon purchasing the Ridgid stand I started to put everything together. The first thing I notice were the instructions (obviously) and I got as far as putting the wheels on before I realized I was missing parts, a set of screws needed for the handle, pads and the anchor bolts for the brackets that hold the saw to the frame. Thankfully for me the Home Depot folks were great to work with and allowed to me open a second units box at the store to get the missing parts. I gave up on using the instructions and instead just watched the assembly video on this site to see how to finish. I found this to be much easier to do than read the instructions, but this is just me. Overall I really like this unit and it holds my Dewalt saw perfectly. Needless to say the wheels make all the difference, at least for me anyway. I rated this 4 stars due to bad instructions.

Hello, The blade wobble has indeed been addressed. The price I can not address because it could have been a promotional price at the time.
