Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ridgid 18V Leaf Blower I heard numerous people complain about the fact the their batteries didn't fit this blower. I've been buying 18V product from Ridgid since 2015 and everyone of the batteries I have, fit this blower. Anyway, I like the blower, it's lightweight and reasonably quiet. I like the "cruise control" feature to prevent finger fatigue as well. Clears the bird seed feeder mess off the deck and shop dust no problem as well as leaves from the driveway, it even has a "Turbo" button for a little extra boost. But I can't give it 5 stars because to be a true leaf blower, It needs to do the yard leaves and it doesn't have quite enough guts to move larger piles around. All in all it's good value.

Very disappointing from a brand that I’ve had nothing but good experience with until now. This is useless to me as I bought the tool only so will be returning it.

Now, when looking to purchase it for a friend, I noticed the price has dropped to $188 pre-tax. I'm puzzled by this unfair change, especially considering the current price increase trend in Canada. Therefore, I'll recommend a similar product from a different brand to my friend. Not buying from them might be a good way to penalize them for their lack of pricing transparency.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful and powerful! I wanted a cordless battery-powered blower and this RIDGID blower is a perfect replacement for my electric blower. It is powerful and easily cleans my sidewalks and pool deck after mowing the grass. It's handy in the workshop to blow off the workbench and table saw. I even use it to "sweep" the floor by blowing the sawdust out the door. This tool is a worthy addition to my other RIDGID tools. With the turbo button, this blower has done everything I've asked of it. Battery life is good, even with the 2Ah batteries and it works with all my other RIDGID batteries.

Make sure to keep the battery topped up as it lasts about 15 minutes with a little bit of boost thrown in there. I did just return it because some blow job requirements last longer than 15 minutes and instead of buying more and more batteries, I decided to get my gas blower tuned up. Four stars because it works as described and simple to use right out of the box. Seems solid and sturdy but I needed something that lasted a little longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with tool I bought this as part of a blower/trimmer combo despite the reviews and concerns over the battery. Figured I could return it if needed and I’ve never had an issue with the LSA service. I started charging the battery and grabbed one of my other 4Ah batteries and it worked just fine. Happy with the power. I think using as much a power as necessary as opposed to full power at all times is where people make the mistake and drain their batteries.

Will this blow snow off side walks

Hi, question is...what is the maximum USABLE battery amperage that the motor can use. So, for example, the 8Ah battery will physically fit on the blower, but can the blower pull and use 8 amps??
