Will 1.5ah batteries work well with this? Will it have less power?

Will 1.5ah batteries work well with this? Will it have less power?
Asked by: JACK
I am the original OP and asked the question. I have since used this with 1.5ah, 2ah and 4ah. It works great with the 1.5 and 2ah. BUT, it rocks with the 4ah! Their is a noticeable increase in power. A utube vid compared this with the overpriced expensive red model using this subcompact impact wrench with a 6ah bat and it tested 450lbs removing torque.

I'm trying to register my impact and I need a package number that I do not know. Followed the directions but do not see a package number for this 3/8" impact.

Asked by: Andy 1
The package number is your UPC or bar code on the back of the box the tool came in.

Why is Ridgid not having the tri-beam feature of the Octane Impact Wrench in this compact wrench?...

Why is Ridgid not having the tri-beam feature of the Octane Impact Wrench in this compact wrench? Milwaukee is imitating and having that same tri-beam feature in all its latest generation M18 fuel compact wrench now.
Asked by: Keen
This is actually better imo. It lights up the area, not just directly in front of the chuck.

will this be good for replacing blades on commercial mower?

Asked by: maap
I've used mine for replacing mower blades on my 46" Cub Cadet RZT mower without issue. The size means I don't need to raise the mower as far off the ground to remove and reinstall the blade nuts.

The 18 volt 1/2 inch impact wrench doesn't come as a set from what I have been able to find. The warranty says the lifetime coverage is for items purchased as a set. If I purchase a 3/8 inch impact set and a 1/2 inch impact at the same time, warranty?

Asked by: Dale865
I bought the bare tool and they accepted my registering information. I believe if you buy individual batteries, they are not covered, unless you buy a "battery set" which is 2 batteries and a charger. So far all the pieces I have bought have been accepted for the lifetime warranty.

registration issue

Ridgid registration site doesn't recognize the model number for this product, with or without the letter B at the end. I have no issue registering other products. I am surprised nobody else mentioned they had this issue.
Asked by: Lee
I’ve bought many Ridgid tools over the years and never had a problem until a recent purchase. The online system rejected my registration. So I broke down and called Ridgid (1-866-539-1710), I opted for the call back when my # came up in the queue (which I’ve tried with other companies and it’s never worked. But I thought WTH, I wasn’t expecting much anyway. Well, I did get a call back from Larry G. who had a slight southern twang. I only mention this because I’m usually talking to someone where English isn’t their first language. Way to go Ridgid! Larry took care of all of my registration problems in less than 10 minutes. Bam and done. So give ‘em a call, you might be pleasantly surprised.
