Rated 4 out of 5 by Handy Dandy from Great Toolbox, especially for the price. Very solid toolbox, which can be made part of a larger system with the other Ridgid components. Solid and nice-to-use metal clasp mechanism compared to other brands. Toolbox has a full metal stop when you open the lid, so it doesn't flop over backwards. There is a rubber a gasket all around the rim for a nice seal. The outside has a great handle which locks in position or flat. The top/sides have two other handles made of heavy wire (with rubber handle) that can flip up. This allows you to lift the the unit like a ... crate of apples? (horizontally) The internal orange organizers and the dividing walls are all removable. The lid will compress down onto the orange boxes on the sides to keep the contents in place. The middle has more room vertically as you can see. Outstanding toolbox compared to other brands which are the same price or only slightly less. Made in Israel which explains why it is tough as boots. HERE'S HOW IT COULD BE BETTER: THE LOCKING MECHANISM: The metal clasps allow for locks (1 each)... the hole for the locks is on the small size, but worse is that they recessed into the metal clasps. So you CANNOT fit a typical "locker" sized lock. You must use little mini-locks, and YMMV on fit. It would be MUCH better if it allowed for larger locks, or if in addition to the clasp locks, there was a central metal locking point behind the handle - with a big loop. Still, a tremendous value and highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zamboniguy from Great organizer box I bought the mid size box in the US this past May. I could't wait to go back down this May and get the rest of the set. They are now in Canada... so I'm saved a trip... lol This is a tough and solid tool box. I keep my Ridgid 18V tools in the mid size and the cart boxes. I took the bins out and use this box to store my chargers, batteries, recip and jigsaw blades, and the extra grab handles for my hammer and regular drills. With the dividers, it keeps things from moving around too much. I love the fact that I can store my tools and accessories in hard boxes that keep out the dust and rain, and I'm not just throwing them in the bag. My bare tools don't even have a bag to go in to.

Does the rigid gear cart pro open  in the front and cascade down or do you have to take each  piece off to get to the separate boxes?

The Ridgid gear cart opens by the top coming off. The connectors are on the top cover. When connected to the mid sized tool box... just unhasp the top cover and lift of the tool box... you now have full access to the gear cart.
