Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect With the dust attachment and a 4.5" Ryobi grinder the wife and I took out about 450sq ft of travertine today, there's probably a easier way but I jack hammered the thin set and used this to get it off the concrete. This worked perfect, about 80% dust free.

However, don't use it to remove carpet adhesive. Unless you stop every 30 seconds and let it cool off, it gets hot enough to reactivate the glue which sticks to the teeth making it useless. I soaked and soaked in acetone, scrubbed them and then used Goo Gone and a blade, and I was able to get most of it off. Send time, I stopped about every minute to bush it off and let it cool down. On the fourth stop, I could see that the glue was reactivating again, so I gave up. $44 basically down the drain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worth the money This did a fantastic job leveling the slab seam of our house addition to the existing slab. The LVP flooring did not sit level across the seam. I used a GFI outlet and misted the blade with water. I had a wet dry vac to keep the water under control while i grinded. This worked very quickly. Maybe 10 minites on the grinder. 30 total as i kept checking the fitment of the vinyl flooring across the seam plus clean up. Very dusty without the water. I knew that before I started as thats the nature of grinding concrete. Definately use a GFI if you are using electric. After a few minutes I remembered my cordless grinder and the shock hazard was solved. Make sure the blade is on tight on a cordless grinder. I just spun it on lightly like I do on electrics. Electrics spin down slowly. Cordless grinders stops quickly and this disk went flying. It has a lot of mass so it took a while to stop. Luckily the dogs weren’t around and the area was under construction. It would have chewed up the baseboard coming to a stop.
