But when replacing the disc, unfortunately the the attachment is already coming apart. I know it’s under warranty, just thought it would’ve held up a little better. But overall it does a fantastic job. Thanks Fabian

Dust collection works really, really well which is why I continue to buy it. The sander typically last me about 2 years and then it simply dies. The warranty is utterly worthless. So, what are the reasons I keep buying this model knowing full well it is not going to last?: 1. cheap enough 2. My current shop-vac/mini cyclone setup is geared toward the dust collection port. When it works it does a great job of collecting almost all the dust. I have done a ton of DIY at my current fixer upper house and I have gone through 5 large pails of sheetrock mud. There is almost no dust when I sand with 150 grit on the lowest setting (sander is variable speed) and have the sander hooked up to my dust collection system. It really does work well, until it dies. My only complaint is that the sander simply does not last very long. Apparently that same sentiment is echoed by others on various forums. If you do not have an existing dust collector for a sander then you might be wise to look elsewhere if longevity is your main concern. If you plan to use this sander on a part-time bases and have a good dust collector then it might be worth your while to invest in this sander. The dust collection really does a fantastic job, especially of sheet rock mud. When my current new sander finally dies (bought the 4th new one in April of 2020) I will revisit a different brand since most of my DIY projects at the current fixer up home will be done. My 2 cents.

    Should this ROS spin?

Hello, I'm new to ROS's and just purchases this model. Upon plugging it in, I was surprised to see that the head of the sander doesn't spin much more then a few revolutions per minute. It does, however seem to 'vibrate' nicely. I tried it out on a piece of wood and it does seem to removing material. I just wanted to make sure that is is normal for the head of these sanders not to be rotating very quickly. Thanks for any advice! Thanks for any advice!

My first one did this. It failed after two days (Switch stopped working). My second one spun much, much faster. It failed as well (Switch stopped working). Yours is defective.
