Rated 5 out of 5 by from I give this five stars so far. I have only used this once for repairing a wooden fence, it was easy to load and the 2 1/2 bostich coiled nails did not jam once.I will update once I get a chance to use this more thoroughly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Buy! Great Buy! Would have been nice for Home Depot to put in the summary "We don't carry these nails in store. You'll have to buy them online. And pay for shipping. Thanks." Other than that, top notch, well built, looks like it will last me quite a few houses :).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this thing! I haven't had this very long, but I've used it a few times and it is awesome. Very powerful. Shoots 3in ring shank nails with ease. It could probably shoot it through the wood if you're not careful. No hang-ups or misfeeds. Just fun to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A terrific value! I own a number of other Ridgid power tools which aided in my research of a framing nailer. I was not disappointed in the performance of this unit and the value. The light weight, adjustable exhaust port and swivel quick coupler fitting (included) make use in tight quarters easier and more comfortable than units I have used in the past.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great nailer I'm extremely happy with this nailer. I began a full siding replacement right after the purchase, It drives perfectly, no misfires. The coil design holding about 300 2 3/8" nails saved me reloading time. This nailer takes the place of two nailers for me. My next job is a fence, and I'll be able to use 1 3/4" nails in this same nailer. It's great that it can handle up to 3 1/2" nails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Buy, Works Well! Price and warranty so good that I purchased two. This coil nail gun works well, is not heavy, and nails are available at the store, on-line, and at tool stores. Works as advertised. It's a shame that they don't make a coil siding nailer as well.

    difference in coil or straight

I was just wondering what the difference between the coil and straight nailer is besides the nails being on a coil and price??? Also is there a benifit from one to the other???
    Asked by: Anonymous
Coil nailers are shorter and can get into tighter places. Also the coil has more nails in the magazine.

    Hope you can help

Having problems either getting the right gun or getting the right nails for my gun We bought some Hardie board siding and told them which gun I had, Bostich N66C. When it was delivered they sent nails sku107272 which won't fit mine. The answer guys recommended the N80C or the N100c which are not available from the stores here, they stock the N89C. No gaurantee when or if, either would be in if I ordered one of them. They didn't know if they could order nails to fit the N66C Bostich. I found this one on the shelf, but I know nothing about Ridgid. From what I can tell, this gun should fit the nails they sent? Can you confirm??? I appreciate all your help.

This nailer takes a 15 degree wire collated nail. As long as the nails fit this desription, they will work in your nailer. The code on the ones I use is N80
