Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect This gadget is essential for "jobsite tablesaw" rips. i've been using it for a few years. having this Flip Top around makes ripping full plywood sheets possible when i work alone. other stands have those rollers. those are useless if the piece requiring support is so long it begins to bend from gravity. with those rollers, you must set the roller lower than the table. this Flip Top is designed to grab sagging work as its fed, and it literally lifts it level with the tablesaw (or mitre saw or whatever you choose). there is a second generation model available. it has hooks from which to hang weights, and a bevelled top to it. its the same price as the old one. look for that one in store. the set screw has an adjuster to keep the locking jaws tight at all times. i find in most cases, they need adjusting out of the factory. a phillips will do the trick. you can choose to have the stand perform its flip function to aid sagging work, you can also lock the top solid and use it as an ordinary support, or fold it flat, and store it in a space less than 4 inches wide. Very well designed and built. 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great little helper I bought this flip top stand last year and it is without a doubt, the best stand I've ever used. It is way better than a roller stand (I own two of them), The thing I like about this stand is that it doesn't let the work roll away on you like my roller stands do. It has great adjustable features with height as well as the flip top. I wish the price was a little less but having said that, it is still worth it to have in my work shop.

It is height adjustable so that it can catch long boards as they come off the table saw or support long (16') lengths of baseboard while using my miter saw. The one problem I've had is with the height adjusting lock. The adjusting lever socket is not deep enough to fully engage with the locking nut, that caused the socket to become stripped over the years. I have since removed the lever and use an adjustable wrench to tighten or loosen the nut.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good support stand Good little work stand. Makes life easy putting 3/4” plywood through my table saw on site. I set up 3 of these. One on the side the side of the saw to carry the weight of the plywood and 2 in front slightly lower than the saw to catch the cuts. Only one draw back I found is the wood sometimes didn’t slide the way I would have liked. Easy fix with a small spay of jig-a-loo on the top before I start the job. Other that no complaints.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Physically supportive for some cheap thin wall tubing, a bit of grade 1 hardware, and some of China’s finest plastic comes a very functional stand. It would be nice if it had a bit more weight in the base so it wouldn’t get tipped over so easily.
