Rated 3 out of 5 by from average Bought this used, had maybe 50 screws used on it. It looked new. I love my ridgid table saw so thought why not. I thought it was me with inconsistent pressure on the gun, but like others had said, the gun screw depth kept changing, quite frustrating. I have used screw guns a lot over the years. I found the cord on this screw gun way to heavy and stiff. It stayed coiled up the whole time I used it, you need a cord hat will relax, so your not fighting it all the time. The gun is ok for maybe a basement reno, but definitely not for a professional use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from super gun I purchased this gun to help my daughter remodel her house. There was other guns there from other relatives which i did use, but when going back to use my gun it performed far better than any of the others. It was lighter and balanced far better. I would buy it again in a second.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well I read the reviews and decided to get this despite the poor reviews. The bit did strip out quickly, so I replaced it with a tempered one. It took a bit to get the depth adjusted. You do have to ensure that you are pretty dead straight before engaging but I would suspect that would be the same with most guns :-) Once I got the depth set, worked like a charm. I don't do all that much from a drywalling standpoint, but so far have found this easier than a drill with dimple setter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Upsetting I thought this tool would really help out with drywalling that needed to be done. However, nothing about it is really handy at all. cons: - The depth setting is useless as it seems that it has a mind of it's own, no matter what speed it's set at. - It has a reverse, but what good is that if it doesn't spin unless there is pressure on the bit, but since the depth setting does what it wants you won't be able to get the screws back out. - It doesn't come with a case, which every other Ridgid tools seems to have pros: - It does have a nice long cord. - It's light I have 5 other ridgid tools and all of those are great, this one really surprised me on how bad it is, how it really hinders your work more than helping it. This drywall gun has put me off trying any other brands. A dimpler works much better than this gun, and it's about $10. Even if you were a contractor I wouldn't reccomend this gun. I did return this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Drywall Gun I have had this gun for a few months now. Excellent gun for the price. Well balanced. Lots of power. Lighted plug is a nice bonus. My only complaint is the lack of a case. Mind you that can be said for all drywall screwguns. All in all a great screwgun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value. Great value, got two for $99.99. Works like charm, best bang for the buck. Would have been a 5 star review, had it came with a case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small and powerful This drywall gun is relatively small but very powerful. Well balanced too.
