Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing value, just needs one design fix. Power is great! I'm jumping from my monster Shop Vac triple the size and power, and the difference is very little on power. But it loads up faster which was to be expected. I only wish the suction hose would come from the side, or maybe if they made this wider side to side so it wouldn't stick out so much, as I bought this to help with the space issue in my shop. Otherwise for the money it is outstanding. Would buy this again if they move the inlet, which I am 100% sure they will when they read the hundreds of reviews, as it is a major design flaw for a wall mount unit. But quality and power make up for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing wall mounted vac I've had this for about 6 months now and it's been awesome. Depending on how often I'm using it I dump it about every month or so. It hooks up too all of my tools with dust collection (I had to but an adapter set to make it work with by sanders and table saw). I also have it hooked up to my mitre saw using a piece of PVC that my father in law stuck in. It has a ton of power, if it ever seems weak that is a sight that you need to dump it out, which is a 5 minute process. When you dump it out, make sure to give the filter a solid bang.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Garage wall mount main reason for buying. I purchased this vacuum on-line over a month ago (free delivery) and I soon after mounted it fairly easily on the garage wall. Good features: It can be removed to use portably; the long cord is a plus since I have a Stanley shop vac and it’s cord is annoyingly short (6’?); the extension hose and car nozzle; the blower feature (which is all I really used of this vacuum so far since the unit does not ship with even 1 bag! Yes it can operate without but a bag is cleaner). The muffler does not attenuate sound very much but looks good. Other wish is that it be less clunky in size given its intended for wall mouth and my garage is a single car garage. More streamlined would be a plus. Also add a fused outlet on the vacuum so the lost outlet for the vacuum in a garage can be duplicated.

Suction power is very good and all the included accessories are a big plus. Only downside for me was that the plastic attachment for the cover on the blower port was a bit cheap and difficult to “hook” onto the body of the vac. In fact mine broke just trying to connect it. Not a big deal and mainly the reason why I took off a star. Other wise the thing works great and looks good on my garage wall.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An OK ShopVac Bought primarily to clean my vehicle. Includes a smaller floor attachment and also a narrow one for getting into tight places typical in a vehicle. Suction is good if you don’t use the wand, and is only ok with the wand. The hanger is held to the wall by 3 screws in the centre of the unit. It is not very sturdy so I will likely add a few holes and screws to brace it a bit better.

Suction is pretty good and has lots of attachments the only thing I would change is the hose it’s two sections one is not very flexible and the other is flexible makes it a bit awkward to use

Rather than attach to a wall I was able to attach to a maintenance cart. Any jobs are now instantly cleaned up without having to lug around another piece of equipment.

Comes with wall mount and al; hardware which is easy to store. Long cord and Long hose for auto detailing. Great for cleaning my garage as well while its on the wall.

Does this use a bag? If so does it work without one.

Hello MikeD519, Yes, it can use VF3503 filter bag. However, it hangs off the drum inlet leaving it susceptible to damage. Having said that, the dust collection bags are completely optional on our RIDGID vacuums. For dry pickups, make sure that you have the correct type of filter depending on the application you are using the vacuum for. Thanks, RIDGID
